A friend of mine almost didn’t make it to her Saudi Arabia trip. That’s because the travel clinic she went to didn’t inform her that meningococcal immunization is actually required for entry.
It’s a good thing she was able to snag an emergency appointment just a couple of days before her departure! Otherwise, her plane ticket would have gone to waste.
Choosing the right travel clinic is important, especially if you’re going to countries with strict travel immunization policies. So, to help you have a hassle-free trip, here are the best travel clinics in Toronto.
How much do travel clinic services cost in Toronto?
In Toronto, travel clinic services typically cost between $50 and $250. Some clinics charge a consultation fee, ranging from $50 to $100, while vaccines like hepatitis A, typhoid, or yellow fever can range from $50 to $200 per dose.
Additional costs may include prescriptions for travel-related medications like malaria pills.
1. ABC Travel Clinic

Located in North York, ABC Travel Clinic specializes in travel vaccines and consultations, but with a welcome twist—no injection or follow-up fees!
They offer virtual consultations. If you book one, you get an extra $10 off when you come to the clinic for vaccinations.
In-person consultations are available as well. Good news for those with travel buddies—they offer discounts for consults with 2 or more travelers.
As for immunizations, they stock all vaccines, which include shots against Malaria, Dengue Fever, Zika, Yellow Fever, and even Japanese Encephalitis.
You can also get advice about medical travel conditions like Altitude Sickness, Traveller’s Diarrhea, Schistosomiasis, and more.
What’s cool is that they update your travel medicine reports for every country.
However, be prepared to have your calls go unanswered—we heard about this issue from former patients.
By far the best experience I’ve had at a travel clinic!
“By far the best experience I’ve had at a travel clinic! Anna was SO helpful incredibly informative. She walked me through everything required for my trip provided travel advice and recommendations and I was able to get my Travel vaccine on the same day. Booking an appointment online was very easy and cost effective! It was such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this clinic.”

2. Everest Travel Clinic

We love that Everest Travel Clinic is not just a travel center—it’s also a pharmacy and walk-in clinic, making it a one-stop shop for your pre-travel needs.
Start by booking a virtual or onsite travel consultation. Here, a healthcare professional will assess your needs and prescribe the necessary meds and vaccines.
They recommend bringing your travel itinerary, as well as a list of questions, for you to get the best medical travel advice possible.
In terms of shots, they offer Meningitis, Typhoid Fever, Polio, Dengue, and Yellow Fever vaccines, just to name a few.
Other travel medicine services include prescription transfers and blister packaging.
Just a heads up—their online form might not be enough to fit your entire vaccine history. Be prepared to bring your records just in case.
Everything was also super efficient
“I got my travel vaccinations for Vietnam here and I could not recommend Everest enough. They were easy to find, patient, thorough, and took the time to inform me of all critical information. They also have a great bedside manner — nice, friendly and comforting. Everything was also super efficient. I’m not afraid of needles, but if you are then this is an ideal clinic as they know how to keep you calm and positive. They were the best! Very lovely people.”

Staff was super nice and informative
“Had a great experience at this travel medical clinic! The staff were super nice and informative, giving us a clear overview of the shots we needed and why. They explained everything in detail and let us choose what to get without pressure, unlike other clinics. We got a few boosters and pills for our trip to the Philippines. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

3. TravelMed Vaccine Centre

TravelMed Vaccine Centre’s goal is to help travelers reduce medical risks while exploring the world. They try to reach this with pros who have a combined 60 years of medical experience.
When you book a consultation (preferably 4-6 weeks before your trip), your travel doctor will recommend the right vaccines and precautions based on your destination.
As for vaccines, they offer a wide range—ideal for travel to all continents. An example is their Halal Meningitis vaccine, available at no extra charge, for travelers heading to Saudi Arabia for Hajj or Umrah.
Plus, they offer special deals, depending on the service or country, so check their website before booking.
Just keep in mind that we heard about higher-than-average vaccine prices.
For travel medicine – this place is the best!
“Absolutely fantastic experience. The doctor is kind, compassionate, and has a wonderful personality. Additionally, I didn’t feel any of the injections. The front desk was extremely lovely and pleasant. You don’t need to go anywhere else for travel medicine – this place is the best!”

They know exactly what they’re doing at TravelMed!
“Class services, class care! Right from the inception of my booking, there was transparency. All the vaccines available and the prices were listed on their website. My appointment was on time and seamless and in less than 30 minutes I was out of there. Dr. Kavian was a complete professional and answered all my numerous questions about the vaccines I was taking as I wanted to be prepared for the aftermath. He provided helpful solutions which I followed and that helped me feel my best by the next day. I recommend their services. They know exactly what they’re doing at TravelMed!”

4. Canadian Travel Clinics

With two locations in Toronto, Canadian Travel Clinics specializes in last-minute travel medicine services. Meaning, if you procrastinated on getting your shots (we’ve all been there!), you can simply book a same-day appointment.
In fact, they offer evening and weekend appointments, which not all travel clinics do.
As a designated yellow fever centre, you can obtain a yellow fever certificate from them. They also provide Malaria, Typhoid, Cholera, Meningococcal Meningitis, Tetanus, Encephalitis that’s tick-borne, and many more.
Before administering vaccines and providing travel advice, they conduct a risk assessment—a close look at your health history, destination, and planned activities.
Unfortunately (especially for punctual patients), we heard about health professionals being late to appointments. This is definitely frustrating and should be addressed.
Hands down the best experience I’ve had at a travel clinic
“This is hands down the best experience I’ve had at a travel clinic. To be fair it’s also the only experience I’ve had, but still 10/10. The nurse was knowledgeable, professional, and shared information in a way that made the whole process a dream. Even the 15 minute waiting period after the shots was helpful, with advice on how to stay safe travelling. Regardless of where you are in the city, this clinic is the one to go to!”

Very efficient and professional
“This was very efficient and professional from the scheduling of the appointment to the paperwork at the end. I would recommend this clinic to anyone traveling. Thanks!”

5. Passport Health North York Travel Clinic

For over 30 years, Passport Health has vaccinated millions of travelers across North America at their almost 300 travel clinics. Their North York site is very convenient—it’s just beside the Wilson subway station, across the Yorkdale Mall.
We like their thorough consultation process—they review your health history and travel itinerary before discussing health risks and required vaccines. They even cover dietary and recreational activity precautions.
As for vaccines, they have a wide range, including Japanese Encephalitis and Yellow fever shots, as well as practical add-ons like diarrhea kits.
Lab test services and biometric screenings are offered here, too.
A downside we noticed is their over-the-top pricing. If you’re on a budget, you might want to compare prices with other clinics before settling on them.
Place is clean, and they have all vaccines available
“Very easy to book online. The place is clean and they have all vaccines available. Nurse Carol was very patient with my husband’s questions. Very knowledgeable and explained things clearly but not pushy. She gave my son papers/crayons to keep him busy. She also let him watch while she prepared the injection at the same time explaining what it’s for. This made my son less nervous. We had a very good experience at this travel clinic and will definitely come back.”

Helpful, clean, comfortable clinic!
“Helpful, clean, comfortable clinic! Nurse was very friendly, approachable, helpful. Had no problem answering any questions I had, or explaining things over again to make sure I felt confident with the information given. Was not sure about the amount of money I could afford to spend on vaccines/prescriptions/etc at my consultation, but the nurse provided helpful, unbiased advice about what was necessary vs unnecessary, and what would really be better ‘safe than sorry’ to have. Quick and painless Hep A/Typhoid vaccine; needles make me squeamish but this nurse was very gentle and skilled. Overall very happy with the decision to visit this clinic for travel health advice, would recommend to others!”
