My friend, who owns a small cleaning company, told me a construction horror story. His workers were cleaning a 2nd floor window from the outside when part of the scaffolding they were on fell apart! Luckily, no one was injured.
When my friend called the rental company to complain, all he got were excuses. This definitely made me think about the importance of trustworthy and reliable scaffolding services—pros that won’t let you down (figuratively and literally!).
With that in mind, we compiled the top scaffolding services in Toronto. Use your scaffolding with confidence if it’s from these experts in the biz.
How much do scaffolding services cost in Toronto?

1. Scafom-rux North America

Opened in 1978, Scafom-rux North America has roots in the Netherlands. Now, they’ve expanded to over 14 countries in 4 continents, so I’m pretty sure they know their stuff.
In fact, they came up with the RINGSCAFF modular scaffolding system, which is heavily used today in the construction, oil & gas, mining, and shipbuilding industries. It’s known for being super durable—perfect for projects that need serious load-bearing power.
They also provide custom scaffolding designs with vertical, horizontal, or diagonal configurations—you name it, and they’ll tailor it for you. In addition to custom design, their team will provide statistical calculations, technical support, and on-site visits if needed.
Sure, they might not be the cheapest option out there. But remember—the higher price tag comes with durability and expert support.
Been doing business with them for over 30 years!
“They’re like family over there. Been doing business with them for over 30 years!”

2. Tops Scaffold & Shoring Supply

Tops Scaffold & Shoring Supply has been manufacturing scaffolding and shoring products since 2010. They mostly cater to industries like energy, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, event planning, and mining.
We like that they inspect raw materials against certain parameters before they hit the production line. This makes sure that their scaffolding products will meet the highest industry standards.
Speaking of scaffolding products, their decks are made to remove trip-hazards and drop-throughs and can also handle load requirement changes. Translation—these platforms are designed to be ultra-safe.
In addition to decks, they also supply scaffolding and shoring frames, ring lock and aluminum scaffolding, and scaffolding-related accessories (safety panels, pins, etc.).
A downside we heard about is their sometimes late deliveries, but it’s a good thing these were only isolated cases.

3. Monaco Scaffold

Monaco Scaffold is part of Monaco Global that believes in “Extending your Possibilities.” This motto is spot-on for a scaffolding company.
We heard that their equipment adheres to ISO 9001:2008 standards. No wonder they supply to companies not only in Canada but also in Asia and Australia.
They particularly specialize in frame scaffolding, offering everything from ladder and arch frames to cross braces, diagonal goosers, and locks. Another focus is ring-lock scaffolding, which includes vertical standards, ledgers, trusses, stairs, and lots more.
Frame and system accessories (e.g. leveling jacks, toe boards, aluminum platforms, etc.) are available as well.
All things considered, they’re pretty much on the up and up. That’s why we were surprised to hear about rude dealers who think that customer service involves yelling—definitely not cool.
Very affordable pricing and easy to work with!

4. Nuera Scaffold

As a member of the Scaffold Industry Association of Canada, Nuera Scaffold manufactures products based on CSA, ANSI, and OSHA standards.
Their bestseller is the access frame scaffolding, offering three standard measurements: 1.5 m (5 ft), 1.2 m (4 ft), and 1.0 m (3 ft).
Another specialty is the system or ring-lock scaffolding, which has a rosette connection to bear very high loads. In fact, all steel parts are manufactured in the Middle East and Asia, using the hot dipped galvanizing method for extra durability.
A unique offering they have is project management, where they’ll manage your access or protection needs for your project from start to finish.
One thing to watch out for is their delivery service—that’s because we heard about cases wherein wrong items were delivered.

Service has been absolutely fantastic
“I’ve been working with this team for over a year now. Their service has been absolutely fantastic in every interaction. They have always been honest with time lines and availability and haven’t broken a promise with me. I have swapped to Nu Era as our sole supplier of scaffold and shore posts and have no need to change that.”

5. Battlefield Equipment Rentals

When it comes to scaffolding rentals, Battlefield Equipment Rentals is a one-stop shop for contractors, tradespeople, and even DIYers. In addition to Ontario, they also cater to companies in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and more.
They offer a range of scaffolding products such as frames, base plates, casters, outriggers, screw jacks, and more—basically everything you need for a sturdy scaffold.
We also appreciate their flexible rental options. You can rent scaffolding by the day, week, or month, which is perfect for a quick fix or a long-term project.
Before renting or purchasing equipment, make sure to visit their online Promotion section. Here, you can score huge seasonal deals and discounts.
Of course, not everything’s as right as rain—we heard about rude customer reps on the phone, so be prepared for a little attitude.
