We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Expertise - We chose nail art salons with highly trained technicians who specialize in detailed, creative, and on-trend designs.

Design Variety - We picked spots offering a wide range of styles—from minimalist to bold 3D nail art—to suit every aesthetic.

Customization - We looked for places that offer fully personalized nail art and welcome inspo pics or creative input.

Product Quality - We selected salons using premium polishes, gels, and materials that last longer and are gentle on nails.

Affordability - We considered places that offer stunning nail art without wrecking your wallet.

A friend recently influenced me to have some nail art done, and honestly, I don’t think I can ever go back to plain, boring nails.

She has nail art done every other week—pressed flowers, galaxy nails, chrome aura, etc. At first, I just admired them, but there came a point where I was like, maybe I should try it out.

I had geode-inspired nails made, and wow, they were awesome! It had cracked crystal designs with metallic veins and sparkles that mimic the inside of a gemstone.

So, for those looking to try eye-catching nail art, here are the absolute best nail art salons you should go to.

How much does nail art cost in Toronto?

Nail art in Toronto usually costs from $10 to $80.

Simple accents or minimalist designs might just be an add-on to a regular manicure, while full custom sets or detailed hand-painted art will bump up the price.

“This is my go-to nail salon when I’m in the country. I can’t recommend them or Olena enough. She’s incredibly kind and cheerful, and you can tell she truly loves her craft. The amount of time and attention to detail she puts into my nails shows, from prep to shaping, everything is phenomenal. I’m always the 1st to recommend the salon to anyone from Toronto or who are visiting.”

“My go-to spot in Toronto for detailed nail designs with charms and bling! Super talented artists here! If you are particular about your shaping, definitely look no further.”

I love my results and my final nails!!!

“It was my first time at 1997 Nail Bar and I had a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. I was looking for someone who was proficient in nail art design, and they did not disappoint. I went with Alice, and I really appreciated the honesty in what she was able to achieve and the cost of each nail design. I showed her multiple designs, and she communicated to me on what she was able and not able to do, which I really truly appreciated. I love my results and my final nails!!! I would recommend this nail studio to anyone! I got bio gel with nail design art – totaled to $130 before tax + tip.”

They absolutely never fail, they give great suggestions when I’m unsure what to go for, and they are always caught up with current trends. I’ve gone to Tram and Anna. They are both so talented, somehow manage to work so fast, and are always kind and welcoming. I recommend them to everyone, and all my friends love to check out my new nails every time.”

First time getting cat-eye nails, and I got lots of compliments!

“I’ve been to Elle Nail Bar three times and have loved it every single time! These two were biogel sets done by Nancy, and she never disappoints. It was my first time getting cat-eye nails, and I got lots of compliments! They lasted me about a month with no lifting. My second time with Nancy, I asked for a classic French tip, and it was great. Her attention to detail is commendable. Will continue coming back monthly!!”
